🫶 People Remember How You Made Them Feel
I enjoyed this story about a landscaper who built a thriving business through genuine care - bringing dog treats to appointments and treating each yard as if it were his own.
Despite charging premium rates, he's constantly booked solid through referrals alone.
Why? Because people remember how you made them feel, not just what you charged.
In a world obsessed with shortcuts, it's refreshing to see that doing things the right way still wins.

To All the Moms Reading This: Thank You For Everything
On behalf of all the men in your life who don’t say it nearly enough, THANK YOU!
We may not always find the words, but we see you. We see the love, the labor, the lists, the logistics. We know how hard it is to juggle the house, the kids’ schedules, the holidays, the milestones, and the million little things that somehow get done every day because of you.
To the mothers in my life, thank you. And Happy Mother’s Day.
To My Grandma:
She’s 99 now, and though dementia has taken many things, I’ll never forget who she was when I was growing up: the best grandma a kid could ask for. She never missed my games. She asked thoughtful questions. She listened without judgment. And she gave the warmest hugs. Her kindness shaped me.

To My Mom:
She worries about me constantly, and I’ve come to realize that’s what love feels like from a mother to her son. She’s taught me so much about life, relationships, and how to treat others. I’m incredibly lucky to still have her in my life.
To My Ex-Wife:
She’s the mother of my children. I know she’s doing everything she can to raise them well. And really, what more could anyone ask for? I hope we continue to build a positive relationship, because the better we are, the better she can be as a mom to our kids.
To My Mother-in-Law:
Madison’s mom is amazing. She’s always there, helping with the kids, spoiling them with thoughtful gifts, and cooking meals that feel like home. From the very beginning, she welcomed me and my kids with open arms. We’re beyond lucky to have her.

And to Madison:
You are my rock. I honestly don’t know where I’d be without you. You’re not only a phenomenal mother to your two girls, you’ve also embraced my son and daughter as your own. You juggle work, four kids, an ex-husband, and me (the hardest one of all) and you do it with grace, strength, and a smile.
To every mom who’s reading this: I hope Mother's Day brings you a moment to feel seen, loved, and deeply appreciated.
Happy Mother’s Day.
